Cabbage Stir-Fry

My cabbage stir-fry is one of my favorite super quick veggie dishes. This is the type of dish that you can either enjoy as a side dish (which we do during the holidays) or as the main course. Lately, we have been cutting back on our meat consumption and so I pair the cabbage with yellow rice. Absolutely delicious!

Instructions
  1. Melt butter in large pot.
  2. Add peppers and onions, saute until soft.
  3. Pour in water and and add cabbage to the pot.
  4. Stir, cover, and cook down for 2 minutes. Then add all seasonings.
  5. Cover and cook for 8 minutes. Then add broccoli.
  6. Cover and cover for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add any additional salt and pepper to taste.
